Had ultrasound, baby reading 8wks with a VERY large sac. Dr laughed n said we have a swimmer. Is a large amniotic sac a cause of concern?

In brief: Sac meaning unclear

If the sonographic measurements of your 8 week embryo, its cardiac activity and the yolk sac were all normal, there may be very little cause for alarm .
At this early point in your pregnancy, measuring the size of the gestational sac may be quite imprecise and the meaning of a "very large sac" is rather unclear and is probably insignificant.
