In brief: Possibly

If you are a type one diabetic, your fertility may be possibly affected due to genetic reasons, but i wouldn't dwell on that fact.
The chance of you being fertile is much higher, and controlling your diabetes may improve your fertility as well.

In brief: IDDM & Fertility

Insulin-dependent diabetics should have good fertility but if you have vascular disease then you might have lower egg quality.
I worry more about the pregnancy itself. Poor control is associated with miscarriages. We have tests to check your fertility potential. I would get your family as early as possible because dm causes more problems as you get older. Good luck.
