I had a mole removed on scalp and there is now a black scab over the top of the excision site. Been 7 days since stitches removed. Any need for worry?

In brief: No

On the scalp it is common to have adherent scabs because of hairs trapped in the scab.
It will be black from old blood. If you cannot tease it off or wash it off, your Dr can easily remove it. This may involve gently cutting hairs under the scab.
