Can Mycoplasma hominis cause vulvar folliculitis?

Vulvar Folliculitis

Assuming that the lesions are truly pilo-pustular in origin [see image], the most common bacterial causes are Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas sp. M. hominis is, of course, associated with cervicitis and vaginitis, and very infrequently with vulvovaginitis [photo from, reproduced with permission from Lynne J Margesson, MD]
