In brief: Albuterol

Albuterol is known as a rescue drug and in a hospital setting it is sometimes given every 2-3 hours.
At home give it every 4-6 hours and if you have to give it more often then call your pediatrician immediately.

Would add that albuterol is also a cardiac stimulant and should not be given without a protocol discussed with your MD or prescribing practitioner. if your child is truly needing that often, you need to review with medical practitioner. It is not d=safe to just keep giving puffs unmonitored
