My husbands retina was detached approximately 2 weeks before he had retinal reattachment with a bubble and a buckle. Will he see again out of this ey?

Yes. Probably not perfectly normally but most patients enjoy significant return in vision once fully recuperated from surgery about 6 weeks to 3 months afterward .
Depends. A critical discrimminator is whether the macula (the sharp focus center) was detached. Results are generally visually quite good if the macula was attached prior to surgery. Was the detachment spontaneous or traumatic. Trauma lowers the chance for good vision. Is there underlying disease? like diabetes, or a previous cataract surgery? All these options should be discussed with your surgeon.
