In brief: Impetigo

Impetigo is a common skin conditions in young children, and is usually caused by nose picking.
Treatment consists of topical antibiotic ointment and rarely oral antibiotics. We recommend having your child seen by their doctor so that proper diagnosis and treatment can be initiated.

In brief: ImpetigoThis may rep

This may represent a superficial skin infection.
I would try placing Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) on the sore 3 time a day for a week. If that does not work, your physician can prescribe bactroban.
