That they did not. find cancer,but may need another sample or further testing.
It generally means. that although the biopsy results do not show cancer, they do not explain the imaging findings...we call this "discordance". Usually another attempt at needle biopsy, or surgical biopsy, is the recommendation in these cases. This is an uncommon situation but does occur occasionally.
