In brief: NO; check for cause

Acupuncture and Chinese herbs can help some cases of infertility (see Dr. Fowler's answer for details).
It's unfortunate that Dr. Fisher is so sure of himself when he is obviously biased and knows nothing about Chinese medicine. While Chinese medicine helps many things it can't cause a growth spurt in a 36 yo. The most likely cause is a benign pituitary tumor raising HGH. Have your Dr. test you.

Good recommendations. Here is an excellent reference regarding specific causes of female infertility for which Acupuncture may be beneficial: http://www.iama.edu/OtherArticles/acupuncture_WHO_full_report.pdf

In brief: Causes

Neither herbs nor acupuncture would cause you to grow 2 to 3 inches at age 36 years old.
I can not speak about fertility and herbs. However, there are studies which help to demonstrate how acupuncture can positively impact fertility. REF: http://www.webmd.com/infertility-and-reproduction/features/ancient-art-of-infertility-treatment#1

In brief: No, & furthermore...

...they won't do anything for infertility either. The only things that will be fruitful & multiply are the bank accounts of the acupuncturist & the seller of the Chinese herbs (I'll wager they're the same person, right?).
You may as well throw your money in the trash for all the value you're getting out of it. Knowledge is power. Arm yourself with REAL knowledge, not airy-fairy junk pseudoscience.

Dr Fisher -assume that you are not familiar with The World Health Organization's official stance on acupuncture. You may find it illuminating: http://www.iama.edu/OtherArticles/acupuncture_WHO_full_report.pdf
