An irritation. Pain on both sides would not be shingles, but can be a chronic irritation of the joints of the ribs at the spine in the back; the affected nerves travel around to the abdomen. So pain can travel around both sides and feel like what you have. In my pratice i see htis frequently. An MRI is ot useful.
