I have a bunionette as a result of wearing a moon boot for a foot fracture and subsequently changing walking gait. It is painful to walk and shoes mak?

By design... The purpose of the moon boot is to change your gait in a way the dissipates the force of the ground over a larger surface area. This is what allows the fracture to heal. The boot may or may not irritate already existing problems such as bunions or bunionettes. There is a transition back into regular shoes. This may involve athletic shoe first. Ask your doctor for advice on shoes or therapy.
