40yof w/Hashimotos, chest tightness, muscle aches, normal BP, Potassium 2.8, after 4 days of Klor-Con, K still 2.8. Neg. DVT/PE, normal EKG. Suggest?

Mgt. Your dose may need to be adjusted, by your physician. In the meantime, eating potassium rich foods such as bananas, apricots, kiwis is advised. It is important to see your physician to determine the cause of your low potassium. If you have other medical problems which can contribute to your illness, eg DM your glucose should be measured.
