Most skin abscesses (boils) are not caused by yeast, the only thing treated by Monistat.
No antibiotic cream will help. Depending on exact location (e.g. if this is a Barthoin cyst) it could be an STD like gonorrhea. Whatever the cause, it may require lancing and/or an oral antibotic, especially if large, especially tender, etc. Best to see a doctor for professional evaluation and treatment.
