I had a trace of protein in my urine, but i also have a yeast infection. Can a yeast infection cause this trace of protein?

In brief: Yes and no

If the urine also showed epithelial cells and white blood cells, then it is contaminated and the protein could be from that.
If it is a clean, properly collected urine specimen then a vaginal yeast infection would not cause a change in the urine protein. Get it rechecked after you clear up the infection.
