Hi, I have strong lower back pain but I am also waiting for my period. Shall I take voltaren (diclofenac) or nurofen to relief the pain?

In brief: Voltaren (diclofenac)

Good anti-inflammatory and mild analgesic.
An antihistamine, like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) may help control premenstrual pain. Rule out renal problems and other female problems. At this point, if you usually have a painful menses wait, otherwise see your PCP soon.
