About 20 minutes for the little bumps to disappear at the injection sites. I tell my patients not to rub the area or lie down for two hours to allow the medication to be absorbed into the muscle and not be at risk for displacement.

In brief: Not long

'recovery' is not bad - think how long it takes to get over getting a shot.
It does take about a week before you see an effect of the drug, though.

In brief: Not sure why u ask

Are you having some trouble with botox? Generally the effects from the botox last 3-4 months.
If the injections site is causing problems, that should go away in a few days.

In brief: Minimal

If we are talking Botox for cosmetic reasons then there is really no down time.
There may be some bruising which may take 7-10 days to resolve but arnica may reduce this risk. Effects may take as long as 2 wks to reach peak effectiveness.

In brief: Normally 15 min

After a treatment, there are raised areas at the injection site and occasionally some redness.
This will be gone completely in about 15 minutes; something to think about before heading home or back to the office. The main side effect is bruising. Although everyone takes great care to try and avoid this complication, it does happen and will take 7-10 days to resolve.

In brief: Nothing to recover..

Botox is just a tiny injection, the volume is very small, so there isn't really a "recovery.
" i recommend not exercising the day of the injection, but otherwise no restrictions. Patients may have mild bruising or small reddish bumps around the injection site, but makeup can be applied the same day as the injection. It takes 5-7 days to see results, which should last 3-5 months on average.

In brief: Virtually none

Botox requires virtually no recovery although standard instructions advise avoidance of exercise, supine position and massage of the area for 6 hours post injextion.

In brief: ??

Botox takes about five minutes to get, one week to take effect, and about three months or more to wear off.
Most people go right back to work or play after injections.

i think the questioner wants to know how long Botox can lasts. From 4 to 6 months on average in my 18 years experience.

In brief: 3-4 months

Botox usually looses efficacy around 3-4 months.
This can vary depending on the area of injection and in particular the level of activity of the muscle being injected. The more active the muscle use the less the toxin will last.

But I have seen total reversal take over 6 months in rare cases.

In brief: No real down-time

Hi, botox doesn't really need "recovery" as it is a minimally invasive lunch time procedure.
If done well you may only have small bruises and very little swelling but it does take up to 2 weeks to see the results of the Botox (or dysport) injection. Find a reputable plastic surgeon, facial plastic surgeon or dermatologist in your area.
