In brief: Be wary

A 38 yo male starting allergy shots, prescribed first in the office, then at home.
Allergy shots are subcutaneous (meaning no vein). But I would be wary of allergy shots at home. Most board certified allergists only give shots in the office because of the small (but real) risk of serious reactions.
