No. It is not ok not to eat for three days simply to lose weight, you should probably change your eating habit, decrease the amount of carbohydrate you consume, do some exercise; avoid soft drinks, avoid sweatened beverages, eat a good breakfast in the morning, moderate lunch, and light dinner; you would probably eat three times more after starving yourself for three days.
Starvation. No! you should never stop eating just to lose weight. This is not an effective nor healthy way to go about this. Weight lost due to starvation will come right back. If you want to lose weight, you must do it properly. Cut calories (not completely!) and exercise! This is the only way to lose weight and keep it off!
