Are you a snorer or mouth breather? This may be the problem. Try to increase the humidityin the room where you live and or sleep.
Next, make sure you have good oral hygiene. If you have large tonsils, reddness of the back of the throat or enlarged lymph glands or other symptoms, you should be seen by pcp/ent and examined and tested. Do you have sleep apnea? Any fever with this? Strep test?

Most sore throats resolve, if they dont they should be evaluated.
But if you havent tried gargling with salt water solution, that is a good one to try before you move on. It can be from chronic tonsillitis, chronic acid reflux into your throat, or even something more concerning. A good primary md or an ENT visit would be worthwhile.
