Diagnosed in ER with gastritis in October. Prescribed Protonix (pantoprazole) and it worked wonders. Any OTC medicines I can use to treat at home this time? Dosages?

In brief: Yes

Omeprazole, lansoprazole, and esomeprazole are all available as OTC, which are in the same drug class as Protonix (pantoprazole).
They will bring about the similar effect as Protonix (pantoprazole). For example, esomeprazole (Nexium) 20 mg once daily can help.
