I put on a Vit B12 patch without even thinking if it was safe breastfeeding. I won't use it again. Could it harm my son?

In brief: No, safe to use

B12 is an essential nutrient.
It will not harm your son if you take B12. You can take it orally of course, but there is no reason to not continue to use the patch if you wish. Patches are a good delivery system as B12 is well-absorbed that way. You should also continue your prenatal vitamin while nursing. Congratulations! Breastfeeding is a great thing to do for your baby.
