In brief: Anti alcohol abuse
Antabuse (disulfiram) is also called disulfram. Basically it leads to a very quick onset hangover.
It is used to keep patients from abusing alcohol.

In brief: Antabuse (disulfiram)
I encourage my patients suffering from chronic alcohol dependency to take antabuse (disulfiram), (disulfiram) better yet, have their spouse or significant other supervise the taking of antabuse (disulfiram).
Except for liver effects, which generally are not as damaging as alcohol, Antabuse (disulfiram) has no effects unless one drinks. Then, one becomes very sick. So sick that the person avoids consuming any/all alcohol.
