Mri. If you are asking how one would know if a tendon was cut i would say the definitive test is an mri. The rule for fractures is to immobilize them. Cut tendons do heal but sometimes need surgery. I recommend followup with a board certified podiatrist. Read more...

A cut my foot big toe tendon and today they take off my stiches after 10 days of the operation and my toe still not working up and worried?

If it was severed- -then @ 10 days U should not even try 2 move it. 2 prevent U from doing so, I always used a pin across the joint it moves, then U can't cheat & test it 2 soon. Much better than a bulky cast. But if should B immobilized 4 4-5 wks, and sent 2 PT & start. Follow Ur surgeons protocol 2 a T! B patent. . Read more...
