Will b-6 deficiency or vitamin d deficiency cause tight muscles like an 8 for several weeks at a time? Cramps, twitching headache, severe pain?

In brief: Not typically

What you are describing does not sound like a typical nutritional deficiency.
I would start with a good medical checkup and some baseline bloodwork. But no, I don't think it is simply because you are deficient in vitamin d or b6.

In brief: ? part of the puzzle

This sounds like a complicated situation with many causes.
Chronic back and muscle pain is common in those with D deficiency. Most adults need 5-8000 iu of D3/day. Low B6 can contribute but I advise a complete B complex with the L-5-MTHF form of folate (folic acid). Magnesium deficiency can cause this- try 400-600 mg/day of mag. taurate or glycinate. See an integrative Dr. and good osteopath or chiropractor.
