No! Pills should protect you. Moreover pregnancy is only likely at mid cycle(2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your period.

Unlikely. If intercourse was right after your period, chances of pregnancy from that occurrence are low. Chances of pregnancy are highest for the 1-3 days prior to ovulation, which is usually mid cycle for most women. I am on my second month of the birth control pill lutera. I've been having unprotected sex with my partner. I got my period 9 days early. What do I do?
Change the formula. There are different reasons for bleeding while on the pill. If it persists past 3 cycles, see your doc to discuss changing to a pill with more estrogen, or to add supplemental estrogen. There are also different formulations of the pill with varying amounts of estrogen and progestin. Nsaids like Ibuprofen can help with breakthrough bleeding.
