I was wondering if a person who has been on ritalin (methylphenidate) there whole life almost can get suboxone if the drug problem they have is with pain pills?

Yes. In general terms yes. Ritalin (methylphenidate) does not automatically disqualify the use of suboxone for pain pills addiction. Suboxone for addiction needs to be provided by select doctors certified for this treatment in the US.
Suboxone treatment. requires specific evaluation and treatment under the direction of physicians qualified under the Drug Addiction Treatment Act. Previous use of Ritalin (methylphenidate) should not disqualify. Seek evaluation from a qualified individual who will provide answers and treatment if indicated. Best regards.
