That's what it means. Drug makers are required to provide a date up to when the medication can be assured to retain its potency. The longevity of a med varies with the type and method of production, but that is what the date means.

Will what stop? Will what stop? I strongly advise all of my patients with lupus not to take oral contraceptives. In many patients with lupus there is an increased risk of blood clots. Oral contraceptives make the risk significantly greater. Read more...
