Occasionally my left leg starting with my upper buttocks will go tingly/cold. When the cold starts to go away my leg/left buttocks gets sweaty. Why?

In brief: Neurologist

You may have to be evaluated by a neurologist to determine whether there is a type of neuritis or peripheral neuropathy affecting the sciatic nerve.
The symptoms don't suggest a musculoskeletal process. If deemed advisable tests like emg or spinal mri may be recommended.
