How can you make a sprained ankle heal faster? Even though I can still walk with little limp should I use a cane or crutches to walk places

In brief: Ligaments

Make sure you have no ligament damage to the outside of the ankle.
An MRI can help in diagnosing this. Stay off of it if it is painful to walk on it. See you local podiatrist if pain persists.

In brief: Ankle sprain

Remain off the ankle until you are able to walk and run without discomfort.
Elevate and rest as much as possible. All the best.

In brief: Ankle sprain

Ankle sprains are graded depending on the severity.
RICE (rest, ice, compression and elevation) are needed. Once this improves, rehab exercises are needed.
