In brief: Start with food list
Keep a daily record of what is eaten.
If little time, then use your phone or camera to take a photo. After a few days, look at the images and consider sharing them with a friend or a professional. There are also apps to help people change habits. But the first best step is to note what you are putting in your mouth each time you eat :0.

In brief: Eating habits
First, try sitting down to eat at the table, without distractions.
Next, between bites, set down your fork while you chew in order to eat more slowly. Try smaller plates which helps with portion size. Finally, write down for a week everything you eat.

In brief: Learn About Food
Healthy foods do not have to be unappealing.
Educating yourself about what foods are nutritious, portion sizes, & how often to eat is a great step. There are many websites to help. Try new foods to see what you like. Forcing yourself to eat "healthy" but unappealing foods because they are "healthy" defeats changing your eating habits from "horrible" to "good" ones. Good luck & be persistent!

In brief: Think simple
Think 1-2-3. Simple easy steps, starting with writing down your goal.
Be healthy 1. Undo bad if it comes in a bag, a box, or premade don't do it. 2. Make a healthy habit for 2 weeks plan your meals. Breakfast lunch dinner. Even if it is the same thing day after day, but it's healthy, then make it a habit. 3. Buy healthy if you don't have it in front of you, you won't eat it. Don't eat out.
