Can herpes (several times chickenpox, livelong cold sores, illness from cytomegalo virus) be the cause of chronic fatique? Should adrenals be checked?

Chronic fatigue. The causes of chonic fatigue syndrome (there may be more than one) are unknown. At times the various herpes group viruses (HSV, EBV, CMV, and others) have been suspected, but there is no good evidence for any of them. Just beeling fatigued isn't enough for a diagnosis of CFS. Adrenal insufficiency could cause similar symptoms but is rare unless you have had tuberculosis. See your doctor.
Immune eval. If you are having all these infections especially in a recurrent fashion, I would suggest that you get your immune system checked preferably at an university center . Impaired immune responses can cause fatigue as well as your viral problem.
