Just curious why my 5yo wouldn't have gotten a fever with pneumonia and ear infection? She has juicy cough but acting completely normal. Little winded

In brief: Several Things...

How do you know she has pneumonia? You mention she is "winded" Does she have asthma? Is there a family history of asthma or allergies? Is she immunized? We don't see as many pneumococcal pneumonias as we did before prevnar (pneumococcal vaccine) was approved.
We can see mycoplasma or "walking pneumonia" as a cause of pneumonia in kids, which can cause low grade or no fever. Hard to say...
