Hemoglobin is 11.0 and was told to take hema-plex. Been having headaches here and there and tired as well. Do I need to see what kind of anemia I have?

Hematologist. You may consult a hematologist. However, the commonest cause of anemia in women is iron deficiency due to menstrual blood loss. You may wish to try taking iron and multivitamins for about six months. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
