Depending on the amount of sedation given, you may be in "twilight" (i.
e., sleeping) or just drowsy. (Doubtful that you would be unconscious). Depending on the level of sedation, you may still hear the magnet working. Also, it depends on the scan: (getting technical) as gradient-echo pulse sequences tend to be louder than spin-echo sequences. But you can always ask for ear plugs! Good Luck!
