Frankly never. thought about this. BUT laryngeal speech DOES bipass the tongue. On the other hand not only do you have to learn a new way to talk, you have to UNLEARN the previous way to talk and the tongue will automatically move the way it's been doing. If part of the tongue were removed the remainder would move normally. This might be a smaller solution. (oral maxialla surgeons here? for PAID opinions?)
