In brief: Get tested for cause

Better to get investigated for the cause of recurrent UTI to address the issue.

In brief: Antibiotics

Bactrim ds is usually first line, but Cipro (ciprofloxacin) has become even more popular due to the growing incidence of antibiotic resistence.
Your urine should be cultured by your doctor first though.

I agree with Cipro but sometimes your Doctor may call it in if you are seen in the office soon after. If it is recurrent you need to have a chat with your Doctor about possible causes and precautions
