I'm going to be on strong antibiotics; I want to prevent yeast infections. Will cranberry pills prevent them? What dose/ingredient should I look for?
Cranberry doesn't. Cranberries have hippuric acid which can prevent bacteria from sticking to the lining of the bladder. They do not treat bladder infections, nor do they prevent yeast infections. If you take them drink plenty of water to prevent kidney stones from developing from the oxalate content. Risk is higher with the pills vs fruit or juice. Probiotics, yogurt may prevent yeast infection.
Antibiotic not good. Antibiiotcs are not good, as they kill good germ as well as bad ones. Restoring health is your answer. I cure all kind of chronic pain and other disorders using an east/west therapy called nbe without drugs. Check out thousands of cases from radio shows, youtube and patient letter testimonies posted on cowww.Drtong.M. Most patients felt dramatic relief with their very first nbe treatment.
