I have ADHD and have 10mg Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) tablets to take after school. I tend to take one every 2 hour. Any bad effects?

Not really. If you feel you are needing another dose every 2hours you might be better off taking Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) xr. No real negative effects other than inconvenience, reduced appetite and possibly some irritability or difficulty falling asleep, but you would already notice those were you to get them. Read more...

Hello. I'm male 22 yrs old 77kg. Is it unhealthy to take Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) twice a week even if im not prescribed? It helps me with school and work. Thank you

Illegal, BUT... You should not take a medication, especially a controlled substance such as adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) without your own Prescription. That being said, it appears that even a bi-weekly dose is helping you concentrate and perform better in school, so get evaluated and assessed personally for ADD/ADHD, and your own Rx may just be warranted and forthcoming. Best wishes. Read more...

It is not legal or wise, or good or beneficial for a person to share or sell prescribed pills. It is not legal to receive. Nor wise. Nor good or beneficial. Side effects abound. Risks are high. And Rx and follow up must be professional, licensed, and must follow standards of care. . Read more...

Reasons 4 distract'n. Many things in life r distracting. Not all of them r adhd. Anxiety, depression, family problems, trying to do more than is humanly possible, all can cause loss of focus. We are told we shd be able to "multitask, " but we can't. The term comes from computers, ; they can't without more than 1 processor. We only get 1 processor. Get an evaluation w/ a therapist who is not already convinced it's adhd. Read more...
