The peer-reviewed medical literature reports that between 13 and 30% of persons with chronic low back pain experience pain generation from a disordered sacroiliac joint. Yet, the diagnosis is infrequently entertained. Interested clinicians can review my bibliography of sacroiliac joint disorder amongst my writings at Quora.com; on my Pain Syndrome Board.

Chronic low back pain is reported, in medical literature, to be generated by sacroiliac joint, SIJ, ligament injury in 13-30% who suffer chronic low back pain. Diagnosis of SIJ injury is not aided by imaging studies; excepting for fluoroscopic-guided diagnostic block of SIJ; performed by Pain Interventionists; which study seems unknown to most physicians.
