In brief: No

They may work but BV is due to anaerobic bacteria that are sensitive to specific antibiotics, Metronidazole or clindamycin.

In brief: No

Bacterial vaginosis (bv) is caused by an overgrowth of gardnerella vaginalis - an anaerobic bacteria that is normally present in the vagina in over 70% of women.
Metronidazole (flagyl) or Clindamycin (cleocin) are the most commonly used antibiotics to treat bv.

In brief: No

Vaginosis is an encompassing term that refers to an imbalance of bacteria within the vagina.
As of now Ciprofloxacin or zithromax is not the drug of choice for vaginosis, because the bacteria that these antiboitics affect are usually not the cause of vaginosis. Usually Clindamycin and Metronidazole are used to treat it. Please consult your ob/gyn for further information related to you personally.
