If she has a rash, continued fever, irritability, poor fluid intake, cough, or redness of her eyes, it is particularly important to have a re check.
In the meantime, offer fluids, check her temperature and treat the fever with tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin. The fever should diminish in the next 24 hours if she has a usual viral illness.
