In brief: Food dyes

Food dyes (frosting, sprinkles, ice cream) are known to tint stools.

The color is due to the breakdown of food dyes - either from the icing on the cupcake or the sprinkles.
It should pass in another day. Personally have seen some funky stool color after patients have eaten birthday cake!. Only stool colors to be worried about are red, tarry black or very white.
