Is taking medical cannabis (as oil) on top of anti-depressants, contraindicated? Can they interact badly or is there no relation? Thanks

Cannabis is also. serotonergic, as are anti-depressants. The problem is that there are up to 11 different types of serotonin (15 in some studies). Anti-depressants target some of them, each med targeting a different pattern of serotonins. Cannabis also does this, and may overlap with what the meds are doing, hence "messing" with the effectiveness. Plus, pot is not standardized, so each dose varies. Bad ide.
