I just started on blood pressure meds 2 days ago it metoprolol .25 mg. twice daily. And my doc put me on clonidinr hcl0.1 As needed. Is it okay to take the two together. Or should I wait an estimated time between the two?

In brief: Can take together.

The two medicines work by different medications, so there shd be no problem taking them together. Clonidine, in particular, is "centrally acting" & is supposed to stabilize ur BP, not cause low BP.
However, that being said, if u take the 2 together & then start feeling bad, take ur BP right away & write it down. If ur BP drops precipitously 2-3 hrs after taking meds consistently, TTYD abt the prob
