I have a pain in my inner foot near my heel. Walking's ok, but running on grass hurts. The area's also a little swollen. What is it?

In brief: Arch strain.

It sounds a lot like an inflammation of the insertion point of the medial band of the plantar fascia.
Most commonly known as plantar fasciitis. Another possibility could be apophysitis, however you may be a little too old. In either case, it would probably be best to stop running for a while. The injured tissues need time to recover.
