Hi, have found a lump on the back of my head to the right, I've had a very sore neck for the last few weeks, 1yr ago had complete thyroid removal is it all connected? The lump is the size of a coin

Head Lump. The thyroid gland is low in the front of the neck, almost into your chest. It is not likely related given a couple of factors: 1. your thyroid surgery was over a year ago, 2. any problems from the thyroid would likely present in the front of the neck or upper chest. A lump in the back of the neck or head is most commonly a lymph node, but you should probably have it examined to make sure.
