Could numbness in my extremities be caused by having rmsf earlier this summer?

In brief: Possible but unlikey

Rocky mountain spotted fever (rmsf) has been associated with several neurological problems including sudden hearing loss, paralysis, limb weakness and a condition called guillain-barre syndrome.
However, these complications usually happen relatively soon after or during the infection. If your numbness is new then it is more likely due to a new problem not the rmsf. Look for currently attached ticks.

In addition, a tick borne illness which is responsible for a wide variety of neurologic problems is Lyme Disease. May not have been transmitted by the same tick but if you are in areas where ticks abide you may have been bitten again. The currently attached ticks should be looked for at the nape of your neck. They may cause tick paralysis and cure is thru removal

In brief: Yes

This is one of the potential long-term consequences per the CDC and other resources.
. Unfortunately, there is not enough known about the long-term consequences of RMSF, particularly for those who were not treated in time.
