Do you think volunteering in a clinic will be good experience for applying to medical school? Im doing clerical work but also learning about vaccines.

In brief: Yes

Volunteering (in any field) and as well clinical work will both be great experience to note on your medical school application.
Regarding standardized tests, SAT scores are generally not evaluated; more important will be your score on the MCAT (which you take during college) and high marks in your college courses. Best of luck!
