Is an HIV RNA test after 12 days accurate?

About 95% RNA testing for HIV isn't usually recommended excapt in very high risk situations, like unprotected sex with a known-infected partner. But a negative result at 12 days probably is around 95% conclusive. For 100%, also have an HIV antibody blood test at 4 weeks. The combination of those two negative results will be conclusive. In the meantime, you can be very confident you weren't infected.
