In brief: Diarrhea in a toddle

Toddlers are not supposed to take any medications for diarrhea unless a specific organism is found in a stool culture, most diarrhea are due to viral infections & we focus on keeping the child hydrated with small frequent sips of pedialyte & other clear fluids, no dairy products, the child can eat bread , Ricce apple, bananas & progress gradually to regular diet.
If it persisted see his Dr
